There are two counters in this store, a deli-style sandwich counter, and a bakery/pastry counter. I never tried the sandwiches, but if they are made on the same bread you can buy here, they are fantastic. The bread is awesome, especially if you’ve only ever had supermarket bread with colorful spots on the plastic wrapper. The croissants are made with real butter (so no greasy feeling in your mouth from shortening) and are delicious, the pastry are very good as well. Service was generally rushed, but you’re only dealing with them for a couple minutes, so it’s not a huge deal I guess. All-you-can-carry butter is over by the coffee machine, and they have jelly locked up in the cashiers drawer, which they will dispense on request as if it were pure gold. If you don’t get enough head to the chocolate shop next door, they have plenty. Many a meal in Paris my wife and I would go down, load up on bread and pastry, and bring it back up to the room. The only problem is it can be a little tough to slice the crusty bread with a plastic knife, and we felt bad leaving the crumbs all over the room (so tip your housekeeper!) Prices are not bad, considering the theme-park prices of everything
on The Strip. A loaf of bread is $3, a very large croissant is a little
pricey at $3.50, but worth it.
