This is another roller coaster, but not nearly as entertaining as Speed at the Sahara. It’s also expensive, and doesn’t have the other stuff to do around it like Speed does. It’s got a loop, and they constantly tout the “heartline roll”, which is basically a barrel roll with a trademarked name. All in all, it’s pretty dull as far as roller coasters go. Tourists seem to like it, but if you like to spend a day at a Six Flags adventure park doing coasters, you’ll be bored. The restraints are also VERY bad for your head. Hard plastic shoulder-holders bounce your head between them on every turn (very rough track). I heard a rumor they were planning to upgrade the coaster to fix this, but I haven’t heard anything about it happening. Basically, if you’ve never been on a coaster, and don't know what a good one is like, you’ll love it. If you love scary rides, you might get a kick out of it. Even better, if you want to have the kids stand in line for 2 hours for a 3 minute ride, give ‘em $20 and let them go. |
